COSTCO Zhonghe Store — Restaurant in New Taipei

Went to Costco in Taipei to try some food. Full regret immediately.

The food court at the Costco in Taipei is only accessible to members since it's on the inside. If you are a Costco member from the United States, your Costco card will gives you access to the Costco stores in Taiwan.

4/10 Chicken Bake Tried my favorite chicken bake but it was bad. It was smaller than the usual fresh one. The size and taste were similar to the frozen ones they sell for you to take home.

6/10 Bulgogi Bake Surprisingly tasty. It was filled with cheese, Bulgogi seasoned meat and scallions.

3/10 Honey Lemon Smoothie This was a super sour lemon slurpee. I could not taste any honey but that's cause it was a sour punch to the face. The word smoothie was also misleading.

This Costco is very popular! Going here on a Friday night is full-on rush hour. It's difficult to walk around and if you want to eat at the food court you'll have to stand. It's pretty much like a night market with shopping carts.

The seats were all taken when I wanted to go eat. When I tried waiting for a seat, someone was already lined up to take it. I ended up eating at the photo printing counter just so I had a place to put my food down.

I wanted to say thanks for letting there be Costco's in Taiwan. They are my favorite Costco in the whole world.

Let me count the ways I love the costcos in Taiwan. On 2nd thought, I just don't have the time to list every employee and staff member who is smiling and eager to help me with my shopping. They all work so hard. The staff who serve the samples deserve extra medals in heaven for their patience in the hoards of costcos shoppers coming for their daily fix of costco.

I wanted to write to ask you some questions about heaven. Seeing how much I love the Taiwan Costcos, I have decided not to visit you next time I die, unless they open a costco there in heaven too.

Dear Momo, I know what you mean, I too enjoy all their Local Taiwan, importaed Japanese and Korean products. Only one thing I could ask them to change: Add the french fries and poutine from Canada Costco Snack bar at all the Costco's. I have decide they are the best french fries on the planet. This Costco location is my favorite spot to shop as I lived near by 古亭站 Staff are super friendly and helpful and a lot of good products to buy. I stopped by eye glasses department and Mr 林智偉 provided me with excellent service , explained in details and taught us how to care glasses. His professional knowledge and experience and want to serve really attractive to come back for any glasses needs. Mr 董 answered my question on 好士多金及 what I can earn or do with Fubon bank card vs US Costco bank card.

Love this Costco for my daily life needs and love wonderful and hard working staff here.

Highly recommend this Costco, price is affordable and trustworthy. Ps: will be nice US Costco card can transparently use in Taiwan and earn points or cash award and etc without having to apply local card to enjoy online shopping of Costco.
