Inspired by the Grounds at Alexandria in Sydney, this cafe serves delicious and authentic Aussie cuisine. We ordered their chocolate Lamington, plain scone, and their cheese quiche with salad. They were all very well balanced, and the herbed water was a nice touch. My partner who’s Aussie said that the Lamington is “just like the ones back home,” and that the rest of the food was just as good. If you’re worried about the sweetness of their desserts, don’t worry, the Lamington was only mildly sweet, definitely not a sugar bomb. As promised, my 5 stars review! (A little late sorry! This place is just incredibly beautiful, ir fees as if you are in a perfect garden. The food was also super great 😊 the nice ladies were excellent and extra kind to us by finding us a seat even when we did not have a reservation (sorry for that, but extremely grateful, it was a really hot day ✨ This place is one of the reasons I would go back to this small town, we really really enjoyed our stay here and this place was for sure one of the highlights of our stay in Pingtung ❤️ Thank you...

This is a highly recommended restaurant! The staff are very friendly with all of the guests and their services have been top notch! I love their delicious food ! The ingredients are always fresh and leaves me yearning for more!!! And awww!!!! what an environment to enjoy food in! the plants and the flowers just make you appreciate nature all the more while you enjoy the meals at The Grounds!!! And oh i for got to mention... make sure to try the drinks they make too!...
