So many other reviews say it well. Cool restaurant with great food hidden in the hills. Great atmosphere and views along with pan-pacific fusion of foods.
Not good for wheelchair access. Requires uneven stair access and darting across the street. But there is excellent friendly restaurant provided parking attendants that direct traffic and make sure you don’t get hit by whizzing motorcyclists. Very limited parking so be prepared to park at one of the satellite lots up or down the hill - and make an appointment if you can!! We got there early and got one of the available restaurant spots without an appt, but upon leaving there was a long line of maybe 2 dozen waiting.
Update: we’ve been to the restaurant another 3 times in the last year. This last Saturday in March the service was quite lacking. Perhaps it’s the plethora of guaranteed guests that have jaded the staff, but with minimal service and begrudgingly wanting to offer the basic staff services I have to bump down my service rating for the restaurant. Couldn’t get them to answer question, they didn’t want to take out order …brusquely deflecting to ordering only via QR code. You know how hard it is to find anything on their online menu when you can’t see a tiny speck of a dish’s thumbnail and can’t really read Chinese? Can’t recommend this place to foreigners. We went today on a weekday (albeit was a holiday long weekend) for lunch and the earliest booking was at 1330. We did end up getting in as we door crashed them at 1130.
The chicken was excellent and it is as what everyone has described. The chicken was succulent and tender with a nice smokey flavour. The skin was crispy yet soft.
We also ordered the deep fried tofu which was also excellent. Outer layer was perfectly crispy and will be a definite must re-order. Wish we ordered 2 plates.
Brown rice was fragrant with the chicken oil.
Chicken soup was also a must.
Lastly, the dessert was a mochi dessert and again, which we had 2 servings!

1、預定-居高岩燒雞🐔$700: 使用一整隻土雞,視覺上很滿足。剛出爐的烤雞,外皮油亮帶點脆,肉質光滑,某些部位的肉還有湯汁精華溢出!如此香氣十足,口感依部位有的軟嫩有的扎實不柴,提供三種沾醬:泰式酸辣醬,胡椒鹽、雞汁,個人最喜歡能引出甜味的胡椒鹽。 還有附一盤解膩用的蔬菜!有花椰菜、玉米筍、馬鈴薯、杏鮑菇以及南瓜,每個都鮮甜清爽。
2、手工菜: ①魯凱族阿拜(小)🍙$250:有10片,很有特色,使用小米和碎豬肉做成的內餡,粉紅豬肉為其增添繽紛色,口感柔軟很像粽子,但比粽子多了點彈性少了點黏度,整體味道偏輕,咀嚼起來有一個很特殊的味道,應該是葉子味。
②👍️脆餅鑲燒肉🥙(6份)$300: 燒餅外酥內蓬鬆,咬下去首先感受到燒餅表皮的脆度,麥香十足醃得入味的軟嫩燒肉,醬汁鹹中帶點甜,搭配旁邊的生菜、肉鬆以及番茄一起夾入燒餅裡,整體口感層次豐富且濕潤(番茄爆汁),像早餐店的豬肉燒餅但美味度雙倍
③岩烤茴香棒🍗(6支)$360: 表面撒油炸過的豆酥非常香且不讓口感單調,使用豬腱腿,口感彈性十足且扎實同時做到骨肉好分離,帶點滷香,越嚼越香,蒜片更是畫龍點睛。
④👍️包袱扒綠葉🌮(6顆)$360: 豆皮炸得金黃酥脆,甚至有點像餅乾,裡面有一些香菇、玉米以及火腿,餡料吃起來微Q彈且帶點甜,下面的苜蓿芽和生菜起到很好的去油膩感,好吃。
3、創意料理: ①👍️鍋巴鮮蝦球🍤$320: 蝦球很大顆!口感如此彈牙,尤其那個獨家的蜜汁醬深得我心,鹹鹹甜甜,配蝦球或鍋粑都好吃,鍋巴鑊氣飄香,薄脆口感很涮嘴,但鍋巴吃多了還是會乾,記得喝水。
②川味椒麻雞(半隻)$420: 跟印象中有炸麵衣的椒麻雞不一樣,這邊的是用辣椒、蔥等配料下去快炒,吃起來有點像放大版的辣子雞丁,雞肉不會炒到老柴,但相對普通的一道菜。
③金絲豬腳🐷$500: 金絲是由地瓜製成,嚐得到一點點甜味。豬腳炸得酥脆,外皮很有韌性且咬起來仿佛有滿滿的膠原貸白,肉質QQ彈彈且保有滷汁的香氣,還有給花生米,整道很適合拿來配酒。
4、熱炒料理: ①蜜汁燒小排$320: 一樣有先炸過,像排骨酥,每塊大小適合一口入嘴,但每個肉塊是有厚度的,那個蜜汁醬真的很強,鹹甜比例拿捏得恰到好處。
②岩板燒五花(1條)🥩$320: 石板烤肉的功夫厲害,肥瘦相間的燒肉,帶出烤肉的香氣,但肉片滿薄的,看起來像叉燒,吃起來竟有松阪豬的彈性,沾鹽可以引出油脂的香甜,蒜頭去腥洋蔥去膩,搭配洋蔥吃起來清脆爽口,但整體菜色份量是當天最少的。
5、👍️香酥料理-金沙蜜蝦球🦐$350: 蝦球仍然大顆飽滿,口感Q彈,鹹蛋黃條配比例得宜,金沙就是米飯殺手,還有給大量的蒜酥,配料拿去拌飯簡直可以多吃兩碗。薯條外酥內蓬鬆,越吃越上癮,整道香酥可口,飄香十里。
6、👍️主食料理-私房雞油蔥飯(一桶)🍚$300: 一同大約10人份,真的不小桶,感覺比單碗來得划算。使用五穀米,淋上純正雞油,以及炸得透徹可以當餅乾吃得沒有油耗味的油蔥,香味濃郁,米粒飽滿不軟黏也保有彈性,硬度也是個人喜歡的,推一個。
7、蔬食料理: ①五花野水蓮$200: 拿來營養均衡用的,咀嚼起來清脆,沒有加薑絲的水蓮就是100分。
②鹹蛋檳榔花$220: 用鹹鴨蛋去烹飪,口感像筍子的爽脆但又帶點像馬鈴薯絲的軟度,可能是因為泡在醬汁里吸飽精華所以帶點軟,整體鹹香夠味,很特別的料理,一般市區吃不到,第一次吃。
8、冷盤料理-泰式辣味涼拌🦑$280: 鮮辣夠味,清脆爽口,夏天吃很適合,海鮮給得不少,蝦子跟魷魚都吃得出新鮮彈性,洋蔥新鮮帶點甘甜,開胃又色香味俱全的一道菜。
9、飲品-新鮮水果茶🍹$280: 滿大一壺的!酸甜解渴,喝得到蘋果的香氣,大熱天沒有這一壺真的很難續命。
10、當月小蛋糕🍰$0: 巴斯克乳酪蛋糕,當月壽星出示證件即可獲得,蛋糕口感綿密細緻,乳酪香味濃郁,上層焦糖帶點苦味,搭配巧克力醬很好吃。

🏡環境: 整個餐廳非常遼闊,有好幾十桌,但仍需要預定可見人氣非同凡響。環境結合原民風格以及典雅藝術,從餐廳望出去的美景不是言語所能描述的,眼睛是最好的攝影機。 💁服務: 滿親切的,而且上菜快速,過程有哪裡需要進行協助的地方都會處理,感謝~
結論:我們當天7個人,點了15個菜,加成後不到$6000,點自己想吃的菜還比合菜划算且自由。整體是必定會推薦二訪的餐廳,而且每季都會出新菜色...
