I recently had the pleasure of dining at 又見一炊煙 located in the charming XinShe District of Taichung, and I am utterly enchanted by the experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was transported to a world where architecture seamlessly blended with profound Japanese aesthetics. The ambiance was nothing short of romantic, enhanced by the soft, melodic tunes that filled the air, setting the perfect stage for an extraordinary culinary adventure.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the chef's exquisite omakase menu. Each dish was not just a meal but a masterpiece, meticulously crafted and presented with an artistic touch that left me in awe. The menu was a delightful journey through flavors, textures, and aromas, showcasing the freshest and most delectable seafood I've ever tasted. The generous portions of succulent abalone and colossal prawns were a seafood lover's dream come true. Every bite was a burst of flavors, a testament to the chef's mastery in the kitchen.

I also heard great things about their afternoon tea, and I am already planning my next visit to indulge in that experience. It's no surprise that 又見一炊煙 is a restaurant in high demand; reservations are a must, and I recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance. What a beautiful place at xinshe taichung area. This is definitely one of the most amazing restaurant that serves high tea during 3-5pm! On first come first serve basis! The queue will start from outside the restaurant, upon entering you must remove your shoe to access the restaurant. Seating are first come first serve as well. There are two level and private rooms. The place is really clean!

The view was stunning. One thing to note was there are flies outside so be careful. Spray some mosquito repellent.

The high tea set is very worthy it for the price! They are very patience and will not chase you out...
