174 Wing Knights Inn — Restaurant in Tainan

I went on a week day so no reservation was needed. Earlier I spent most of the day at the dam. By the time I left it was completely dark in the mountains. 174 Wing Knights Inn was a beacon in the night coz it was seriously getting creepy driving for an hour with no street lights. Most of the visitors come here for the view on the glass platform during the day. I find that at night you get to see another side of the town below that's equally beautiful. Plus you can avoid the hordes of tourists. The food was great - I ordered the vegetarian pasta. I believe they have hotpots for vegetarians too. Almost in the middle of no where, this scenic restaurant has a great view of the mountains. They also have a plank area for people to walk on an overhaul pathway. The flooring is made of strengthened glass so you can feel like walking on air. Of course, if the glass breaks, you'll get a free ride dropping into the ravine. It's a great place for picture taking if you're not afraid of heights. Food and drinks here are great too. There are a lot of selections to choose from. A relaxing place to visit. Ordered 2 cups of hot coffee and 2 pasta meal, white sauce sausage pasta & basil pasta both baked with cheese on top. Coffee is brewed nicely. 1 order of pasta is more than enough for 1 person but still depends on how big eater you are. It tasted well depends on the flavor you ordered. The meal is never short on ingredients, it is actually more. If you like it salty or spicy there are condiments ready for everyone. The cost is reasonable. There's more in their menu to choose from.
