Come around 4 in the afternoon where there's no crowd. About 2 tables are eating. Looks like a traditional old restaurant.
Fried mackerel is just so so, just fry fish. And the soup that comes with it, it is too sweet for me. Need to add some vinegar.
On the other hand, their steam fish and the steam fish maw are wonderful. A very simple dish. The fish is fresh, with no fishy smell. But again, if you like the fatty part of the fish, this is a must try.
Fishball is okay, nothing to shout about.

9/10 Fish skin and fishball soup - Soup was clear but really flavourful, must have boiled the stock for very long. The fish skin with abit of meat was really fresh and tasty without any fishy smell and fish ball was freshly made by them
Fried fish noodles - Fried Spanish mackerel was so thick and crispy, and the gravy is thick and really tasty, similar to oyster meesua kind of taste. Abit of vinegar to enhance the taste.

Read moreThis shop was my favorite before. When I was young, I ate three times a week or more. But, the next generation was bad of service. Particularly the lady who serves the food, she always yells other staff, and she uses very rough words. It made me so embarrassed.
I hope they can back to before, and the most important thing is learning how to polite with everyone including workers.
