喜來東（Kimbo's吧） — Restaurant in Taitung City

We came here three years ago pre-pandemic restrictions. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the music. We are in Taitung again today, post pandemic restrictions, and came back for another meal. Once again we really liked the food, the atmosphere and the music. We even got to hear Kimbo, the owner, perform (great voice and pretty mean piano playing). His wife is the chef and this place works so well because of the quality of the ingredients and excellent cooking. It’s not cordon blue, but if you like honest taiwanese food cooked really well you’d be hard pushed to beat this place.

先說結論：家庭旅遊的話非常推薦，但假日最好提早訂位。 優點是分量比預期多，美味又實惠；服務態度很好，聽到小孩不吃辣，會主動提醒馬告（山胡椒）雖不是辣椒的辣，但也是有香辛料的刺激感。 本以為是喝酒聽駐唱的店，想說菜量應該不會多，沒想到烤肉串和炒高麗菜都比預期多，再加上涼拌豬皮、老皮嫩肉、馬告嗆蛋，烤魷魚和阿粨，一家四口差點就吃不完！ 其中最驚豔的是涼拌豬皮和馬告嗆蛋，口感口味具佳。小提醒：涼拌豬皮是拌香菜，馬告嗆蛋有麻油味，不喜歡的人客請務必遠離XD 空間寬敞，但不太像餐廳，另外就是廁所很遠（很推薦去上一下，整路都有標語提醒「廁所很遠但快到了」XDD超有趣），這也沒辦法，畢竟此建築前身是賺外國團客錢的綺麗珊瑚，展售空間非～常大...
