Due to the phenomenal rating, we came here with high expectations of having top-rated and high quality food. However, our actual experience fell short. After sitting down, we immediately noticed free fries were served for a 5-star rating on google, which is a common ploy for restaurants nowadays to boost ratings. i honestly wouldnt have been all that bothered by it if the food here was actually above average, but disappointingly, that wasnt the case. The pasta was poorly cooked, and the beef sandwich tasted very mediocre, not worth the high price and definitely not on par with the quality of other places in the same price range. i will say however the drinks were good, the matcha latte tasted delicious and the bamboo charcoal coffee was okay. Another thing that salvaged a few stars was the staff, the servers were friendly and attentive. Other than that, the overall experience just wasn’t that extraordinary. This is a good place to chill and have a few drinks for a view, but its not the five star rating it advertises and leaves much...
Read moreAmazing city view as always, and surprisingly the staff remembers what i usually order every time I’m here. Not the view attracted me but those kitties are so heart warming and sweet. Oh! The deep fried plater’s strongly recommended me and my kid couldn’t get our hands off of it and almost missed our dinner…lol Curry sauce with pig cheek (not sure how you guys call it) set menu was awesome, sauce was incredibly creamy, and rich in flavor, the sauce itself i could have a bowl of rice to go with it, meat is tender and crispy on the out side. Don’t know the spices but it sure smells good. Staffs are very kind and fast, we didn’t wait long for our food to be put on the table. As always, we left with the curiosity of the coffee shop owner “not” charging extra service fee…this is definitely a great place to cuddle with kitties and to sort out your thinkings, cuz the coffee is great, too. Sorry didn’t have the time to take photos, cuz it’s my family time not foodie or...
Read moreNice location/view, and pet friendly, which was the main reason we picked this place. No complaints on that front.
The food was excellent! We ordered the bacon pasta and the Argentinian steak with the pesto sauce and both were amazing!
I’m not too big by any means - just under 6’ and lean, but I constantly kept bumping into things - the furniture, the lighting… It’s a bit of a paradox for me to see such a crowded (tables, not people) restaurant at this mid-level price point. The wait time for each course was too long. We stayed for much longer than we planned to, but not too much of an issue given the view!
It’d be a 5-star experience for me if the restaurant can lose a few tables to increase service speed and space, especially along the B aisle where we were seated (we were seated right outside the door of the washroom 🥲 and other guests were lining up beside our table...
