I personally feel like this place is a scam and highly do not recommend you to come Firstly, they do not allow us to order each dish one by one based on my preference, they basically force you to buy their bundle and you can’t change anything. Secondly, because we have a bigger group of people, they give a separate menu. (So basically if you have 2 people they give a menu, if you have 8 people, they give another menu. ) But the thing is the menu’s bundles’ portion is fixed. We are not even allowed to change the amount of food per dish. It’s just fixed. And when we asked the people there if we are able to finish it, they say it is okay and it is not too much. They were blind, cause there was so much food, we had 5 containers of takeaways cause there was too much food. We were a family of 8 which had 4 teenagers and 2 elderly, like how do they expect us to finish it. There was a whole duck and soup, a whole fish, half a chicken, a whole bowl of beef, a thick and big cut of pork, a whole mountain of vegetables, a whole bowl of mushroom and vegetables, a mountain of tofu. What I’m trying to say is they should not be forcing people to buy their specific bundle. Thirdly, a driver brought us around Taiwan and usually in Taiwan when I driver brings people to their restaurant, they would usually give the driver a simple meal for free. This place just charged it in our bill! Fourthly, their food was honestly not even good. The duck soup probably had oil for a car to drive a mile. There was so much oil it was disgusting. The tofu also tasted so basic, the chicken tasted basic too. It taste like any chicken I can buy at random store. Fifthly, It is totally not worth the money, it is more than double of my average spending of a meal. If I’m spending that much money, I would expect the food to be heavenly, but it is so disgusting, I couldn’t even eat until my stomach’s maximum capacity. I was just so disgusted that I could not eat anymore. Furthermore, we bought the cheapest option and the other prices are 7000, 8000, 9000 and even 12000 And plus the 7000 dollars does not include tax so aside that 7000dollars, there is a 10% tax Don’t come here I really hate it 7000 plus almost 8000 dollars out...
Read moreFrom what I understand, when a driver bring tourists to any Taiwan eating place, the restaurant will treat the driver a simple meal. But for this restaurant, they charged to our bill.
FYI, my driver ordered a simple NTD 150 fried rice.
We are a family of 8, with 2 elderly, and 4 teenagers.. When we arrived, the menu given to us, was set menu starting from NTD 7000, 8000 to even 12000. This was shocking. My average dinners spent were NTD 3000 or less… and this was double.
We are small eater. And we requested ala carte menu. And they said they don’t have. And we are forced to order the minimum amount menu.
We have duck, chicken, fish, pork, beef, bean curd, mushrooms, vegetables. It is crazy lots of food for maybe 10 to 12 adults that we can’t finished.
The food is not that fantastic, too oily. Too much. Not worth the price in Taiwan.
Have to pay the driver’s meal, 10% service charge and worst, in cash… worst, worst… I feel thirsty after that.
