We stayed at this hotel because we were invited to a wedding lunch here. The wedding restaurant was great. Great view, scenery, food. We reached at around 11am and checked in around 3:30pm after the wedding lunch. And it all went down hill afterwards. The room had some really old decor, and very dark (which might appeal to certain demographic but...definitely not us). It felt depressing. Around 7pm, we were hungry and lazy and tried to order room service and guess what? THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE. We called the hotel reception and he told us they basically don't send food to the room. Wow, we were pretty amazed to be honest. We walked down for the chinese restaurant inside the hotel. The whole hotel was really quiet and empty, and the restaurant was really empty too (I think most people were here just for the wedding lunch). The food wasn't very good. We asked the restaurant manager what to do if we were hungry after 9:30pm (the restaurant closing time) and he told us the only option we have is taking a 10-15 mins taxi to downtown YangMei's FamilyMart. Yikes. When the night comes, the room was really cold. There was a "heating" option in the air conditioner but all it did was blowing cold air. It was probably then we regretted our decision of staying at Sunrise Golf. Uh well, lesson learned: come only for the wedding lunch, and go back to Taipei city for...

Supposed to be the #1 golf resort in Taiwan , spent more than $300 for 1 night with golf package; the overall service is under par but facility is above average: With golfing package , they don't include range balls with more than $100 dollar round there, you have to walk back and forth to fund the range ball, and the monitor there watched you carefully if you steal the balls or something.

For the swimming pool , they forced to wear swimming cap however they don't provide them for free, again , you have to pay for it.

All these items added up , this facility is not up to regular 5 star resort that they charge you a lot but also provide most small service for...

One of the best Taiwan has to offer. Course plays very differently with its notorious wind. One of my favorite layouts in Taiwan. Quite a jump when you move to blue tees from white but good challenge if you’re up for it. The two-tiered greens on most holes means you need to have some course knowledge to score well. On side note, the food’s pretty delicious too! Do yourself a favor and stay for their weekend buffet. Some Dan Dan noodle plus sukiyaki plus sushi plus prime rib...you get it.

Conveniently located close to highway, this course is about 50 min. South of TPE. This was a challenging course, with waters, hilly, and curved/wavy fairways (not sure they were natural or purposely designed so). The condition was reasonably good and caddies were knowledgeable and friendly. Busy course though, which meant waiting in quite a few holes. The course also has accommodation available for Overnight stays and a large dinning room. A semi-private golf course.

Very nice course near TaoYuan airport. Caddie was knowl9and friendly. Those auto-driven golf carts were very good and offer real time scores update with my other group of friends at a flight behind me.
