My three star rating is the result of the uneven quality of food served. There were some standouts and some underwhelming ones.
The chicken was outstanding as the flesh was very tender and naturally flavorful. The oyster dish was above average mainly due to the quality of the oysters used. The oysters also contributed to the soup being quite delicious. The complimentary dessert was quite decent.
The Hakka stir fry was too creative as neither the ingredients nor the cooking method followed the tried and true formula. The liver was too sweet and the texture rubbery. The vegetable was overcooked. The texture of the steamed cod was firmer than ideal.
