It's quite a nice location, nestled in the side of a hill by a stream. Access is by a walking track about 50m off the main road. We came here on a Saturday afternoon, so it was relatively quiet. Service was a little inattentive. The staff, mostly young people, seemed to be enjoying their afternoon break. Food quality is mediocre. Not at all bad, but not of professional quality, and more like something cooked at home. We enjoyed the ambience of the place, they had ample fans to keep customers cool, and the eating area is shaded and comfortable in a simple, rustic style. Read moreFood was not very good, service was extremely slow. To the point that some people finished eating and the others haven't even gotten their food yet. I'm not going to forget the fact that there was a frog on one of the chairs, an extremely large beetle under the table (pictured in photo) that we had to personally move. Overall this was not an enjoyable experience and I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone expect a National Geographic...
Read moreUnusual, open air cafe in a scenic, natural setting located in a wooded area next to a stream. Very picturesque. The food is simple cafe fare, but tastier than the usual chain cafes, and very fresh tasting. I particularly recommend the clams with pasta in a pesto sauce. It looks like a lot in the photo, but one person can easily finish it. The place is set up for fish foot massage, but we didn't see anyone doing this. I'm advised that this place can be very crowded on weekends or holidays, so be advised. Also, be wary of mosquitoes. I found out...
