肆不惑 壽司．丼 — Restaurant in Xiaoliuqiu

Be aware this review has nothing to do with if this store is delicious or not. There are three categories in Google map review and Service is one of them. I do not comment on the food because we didn’t even get in.

So this store is notorious for its attitude, and all the reviews are right about it. I’ve never seen a store like this where you will cross eyes with people waiting outside for 40 minutes and no one will even come out and say if they’re still open for more people or not, so we end up just standing there watching the stores gets empty with like 10+ available seats inside. I don’t know if we continue waiting for another half an hour if they’re still open will really accept us? Probably not, so we left for other places.

I’ve read other comments saying this place has amazing Japanese food and really terrible attitude that if you set foot into the store the owner will yell at you and kick you out so we didn’t go in and ask anything. It has a paper stick on the door saying don’t go in when it’s not your turn.

I think the basic ethic of a restaurant is at least to honor your customer’s time as much as you value yours. If you cannot take that many people, it wouldn’t hurt to just come out and say sorry we can’t take you now come back in another hour. And we live in 2025, there is a lot of ways that you can manage your store without having to let people wait outside and act like it’s their fault that they appreciate your store so much and would just suffer in the sun for your food. Totally not ok. I will change this review if one day this store better its service and start to respect customer’s dignity.

With all that said, I pity how bad the owner has to suffer from all the bad comments because of his own temper issue, I hope you’ll find a good therapist in the near future, or find a better career option that doesn’t involve you going on wars with random...

A must go place on this island ! I am very pleasant surprised to find the supreme quality of sushi on this beautiful island. We got the recommendation from a local electric bicycle owner yesterday, and it was a WOW experience for lunch ! So we went back again for dinner today. The salmon sashimi just melted in your mouth, and the uni, flounder were excellent. Also refills of fish miso soup. Great price with great quality of fish! I think we will go back again...

We stopped for lunch, but we were too late, but the person came out and spoke with us. He told us we could make a reservation for dinner. So glad we did. The food was delicious and fresh. I just wish I knew what 2 things were on our seafood plate. They were the best. We would have ordered more, but we were too full.
