泰銷魂 竹北嘉政店 — Restaurant in Zhubei City

Highly recommended Thai cuisine restaurant, 4.7 scoring on Google review said it all. Group of 8, ordered a group package meal for 6600, some of my top favorite dishes among all are green curry, salted egg soft shell crab, shrimp salad roll with Thai herb sauce, fried pineapple rice, lemongrass steamed fish, thick shrimp pancakes etc, each person gets a drink and tasty ice cream as dessert.

Some dishes definitely need further improvements, for example tom yam soup sourness is strong but not spicy enough, more like lemongrass soup rather than tomyam,l. Fried veges are too plain, will taste far better if fried with some shrimp paste and belacan sauce. Ice cream dessert amount could be slightly more generous. Papaya salad can be added to menu for more authentic Thai cuisine experience.

Price is slightly overpriced than usual Thai restaurants, but for the quality given its definitely worth it, service provided are super kind and generous, and thumbs up to the waiters and waitresses that served. Definitely will...

Omg this place was so so yummy! I visited with a friend without making a reservation on a Sunday afternoon and was lucky to be seated right away. The waitresses were very kind and friendly and explained the menu to us. They do recommend getting a set meal for groups of 2 and 4 but we decided to order a few single dishes ourselves instead. The mixed skewers were good. I preferred the beef over the chicken, as it was more flavourful and the meat was very tender. I felt the chicken was a little dry. The pineapple rice OMG was sooo soooll good. Defo reccommend and paired with the green curry. Heaven! The salad was crisp and refreshing and a great accompaniment to the meal. One of the surprises about Thai Rapture (泰銷魂) is how easily one can repeat the same order and be happy with the results. In many situations, "predictable" is a pejorative term, but the food is so perfect that I don't want to experiment with their other entrees. I want the green chicken curry (spicy) [主-綠咖喱(辣辣)] the yellow fish curry (mild) [主-黃咖哩], the fried dumplings [銷魂餛飩], the donut shrimp [金錢蝦餅], and the cabbage [泰式黃豆高麗菜/ผัดผักบุ้ง] or [蒜香高麗菜].
