Visited this hotel in June this year |My sister and I were very disappointed..|The staff were tip orientated. , if you gave a tip|You were treated like gold but until you did you were ignored. Especially in the restaurant.. we were ask on many occasions to move.(this was because someone had tipped them and they had saved their table). We only sat at these tables as they were the only ones set for customers.. other tables were full of left food and plates that had not been cleared. We were not allowed to collect cutlery for a table they said would sort it out. But then forget and by the time you had collected your food and sat waiting for 20mins it was cold so we left on numerous occasions. Leaving our food. There were no spoons to be found and regularly no plates or glasses. In the end we just accepted the situation.. and ate with a fork only. Yes even cereal. With a fork. |We regular had no where to sit as all sun beds were in use. People had put towels on them, then go out or over to the beach. Only coming back many hours later. |There was a sister hotel, we could visit but only get our AI drinks at night, but we saw many sister hotel customers being served at our hotel. Very strange in the day. |Near the end of our holiday we saw and heard a couple with TUI rep.and hotel management discussing exactly what we had experienced.. we were frightened to complain as we were two lone females. And didn’t want any more stress than we had already experienced.. |also there were very large cockroaches in the sister hotel toilet and the toilet area near the restaurant in our hotel. |It was such a shame as the location was beautiful and the hotel environment was lovely. ||Due to our experience we will not...

The hotel exceeded my expectations! Everything is very beautiful and well-maintained, the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and the beds are super comfortable. I would especially like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff – everyone is incredibly nice, and a special thank you goes to Mohamed at the reception.||The food is excellent – fresh, varied, and with a wide selection. The restaurant staff are attentive, polite, and always there with a smile.||The entertainment is also simply fantastic! There's a great program both day and evening that ensures lots of fun. Kudos to the entertainment staff – Smiley, Willi, Momo, and Sarah ,Amin Billy khaled ,ben – you manage to create a really good atmosphere.||The hotel also offers many amenities, such as a beautiful pool with a pool bar, a fitness room, massages, a hammam, and much more. For beach lovers, it's perfectly located: right by the sea, with fine white sand and crystal-clear, warm water.||A highly recommended hotel – I would come...

This place is so chill and relaxing. They keep the beach relatively clean which I appreciate. Good clean beaches can be hard to find in Dar es Salaam. Unfortunately the chef was sick when we were there so we couldnt taste any of the delicious food my husband was raving about. He swears they have the best fish 🤷🏾‍♀️. Better luck next time I guess.

The workers were still nice they order us food from a local spot and plated it up for us. The only negative thing is some of the furniture cushions and chairs look like they got in a fight with a walrus. I suggest updating them with fresh upholstery and cleaning them daily. Otherwise it was well worth the drive. I didnt get to meet the management they were out of the country but I look forward to it and updating this post on...

Nice place where you can see locals moving around doing their regular chores. You don't see many during the extreme hot hours, but once the sun starts calming down around 4 or 5 pm, you begin to see plenty of them walking around the beach for relaxation or selling small scale already cooked snacks such as boiled eggs, nuts, coffee , fruits, ice cream, fried fish and so on. Some of these sellers are very young kids 😢. It is also a place where local fishermen carry out their activities using these wooden boats (dhows).

A great place to relax for seafood and reggae lovers with a fish market within walking distance to Mahaba. As we were leaving we were lucky enough to catch a glimse of a crab as it was scouring away in the parking lot area which was a plus for us! The upholstery could do with abit of refurbishing though.
