Very chill place in Kawe, Dar es salaam. They serve Tasty Jamaican cuisine in a really beautiful ambience. Take a sip of made to order fresh juice or a fun cocktail as you feel a gentle breeze from the ocean and sway to reggae music. I love their jerk chicken best, but their chicken wings are also to die for. They serve a variety of delicacies like oxtail, curry goat, some sea food. I once hosted a dinner for some guests here and it was wonderful, everyone loved the food. They also have very friendly staff. Nice quiet beach vibe, friendly staff, great cocktails... I enjoy an evening here regularly. The menu of starters is all good; the pumpkin corn cakes with spicy 'jerk' shrimp are my favourite. I've tried all the main dishes, too (except a few which they never have, like any restaurant in the country). I recommend the Jerk Chicken, Seafood Pasta, or Goat Curry. I absolutely LOVE the food here. It’s like a delicious home cooked meal, the veggies are so full of flavour, and the oxtail as well as chicken are just delicious.

Service is slow, which kind of goes along with the whole really laid back feel of the place. There’s a beautiful sea breeze, and lots of shady trees.

When the pool is clean, you can have a nice swim for about 10,000/=.
