Restaurant was open air with unique seating. The food was incredible!! Mostly Burmese influence but with modern touches. I could not get enough. We stayed one night in town and visited twice. The flavor packed into these simple dishes is surprising. I was so impressed I had to buy the cookbook. I recommend getting multiple dishes to share so you can try as much as possible on the menu.
The staff were truly kind and they have a gift shop attached that supports Burmese women as well as a free art gallery up stairs. The goods are specially curated and hand crafted. They sell natural repellant, home made peanut butter that looked amazing but as I'm travelling couldn't buy .. might go back for breakfast! Nice shop with different bags clothes and markets items that I hadn't seen before ! Came back and got the Burmese tea cake, Shan potato salad, samosa plate and tea salad .. all were really love and we really enjoyed it. Great price too...
