Chef Man (Thana City Golf & Sport Club) — Restaurant in Bang Chalong Subdistrict Administrative Organization

I’ve been here several times and this is the few times I had to comment. We ordered the usual and the fish we ordered was 1500 thb and it was humiliating in portion and as thin as a paper. We wanted to feedback the staff and the first waitress just giggled and hide and act like nothing has happened (?) We had to get attention from the manager - or we believed to be manager wearing black suits. She in short explained I don’t know where you’ve been dining but this is how it is here. I don’t know how the staff are trained here nonetheless managers. When we paid and got up to leave, not only does the manager not greet nor come to us to ask if about our dining experience knowing we were unsatisfied and upset about their response, she had her back turned and probably try to hide while all the other waitress did greet us when leaving. There were only 2 other table dining and not like they are busy at all. Is this how chef man service is done and how comments are handled?...

​Chef Man is easily one of my favourite destinations for high-quality, authentic dim sum. The standard fare is consistently excellent; for instance, the shrimp dumplings feature large, bouncy pieces of shrimp that deliver a rich, satisfying flavour. However, the real standouts belong on the special menu. My absolute must-try is the Deep-Fried Shrimp Wonton. It's not just the savoury filling that shines; the wonton wrapper is perfectly crisp and golden, offering a superb contrast in texture that makes it utterly addictive—I could eat them all day. Another essential order is the Fish Roe XO Fried Rice. This is a true celebration of the wok, combining succulent shrimp, tender scallops, vibrant kale, and salty bursts of fish roe. Chefman is a popular higher end chinese food chain. This is the Thana City branch of the establishment which is inside Eastin Hotel and the golf resort. Adequate parking on premises.

The food here is cantonese styled food with some local touches.

The highlight of the visit was the dimsum which were all of very good quality. The roast pork was also very good, thick slices, but flavourful, moist, and not chewy.

A little on the more expensive side, but the quality is there.
