Oh my spice-loving friend, have I got a restaurant recommendation for you! If you're in the mood for some delicious Indian cuisine and an evening of fun, look no further than Mata Garden.

First things first, the outdoor space at Mata Garden is absolutely amazing. The greenery and open-air setting create the perfect atmosphere for enjoying some tasty Indian dishes. And to top it off, they have live music that will have you grooving in your seat while you feast.

Now, I won't sugarcoat it - the service can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride. But hey, what's a little spice without a little heat, right? And let's be honest, waiting a bit longer for our food just gave us more time to enjoy the ambiance and live music.

As for the food itself, my taste buds were in absolute heaven. The menu had a great variety of classic Indian dishes, each with their own unique twist. The flavors were so delicious that I didn't even mind wiping sweat from my brow as I chowed down on some pani puri.

Normally, for good Indian food, you did have to go down town into traffic jam Bangkok to find it. But here out in the western suburbs of Nonthaburi, there is a big establishment that’s everything Indian. Great food and great atmosphere. Chicken masala packs a powerful punch. Unlike the masala of Thai which are mild and sweetened up for the Thai taste buds, this is the real deal. It tasted just like how I had it in Singapore and India, where the aromatics of Indian spices dominates the flavors. That’s the way it should be. Their yogurt marinated chicken was grilled so right and pops with distinct whiff of charcoal fire, another must try if you are here. Mata Garden is a highly recommended spot for enjoying Indian cuisine, especially North Indian delicacies, along with Italian and Thai dishes.

I personally enjoy the experience here – there’s live music in the evenings, with singers performing a mix of classic and contemporary Hindi songs. The venue also has a separate area, which I’ve noticed is perfect for hosting events like birthday parties.

The property is spacious and can accommodate many people comfortably. One of my favorite spots is a hut-like setup next to a small water pond, which offers a very pleasant ambiance, though be cautious of the mosquitoes.
