We usually order for grab takeaway 2-3 times a month and our expectations were met. Yesterday, I came in with my little boy for the fish and chips but the fish was pink and quite raw inside. Service seemed like talking to a robot with a mundane tone (service charge already added on to the bill at 10%) The desert was a chocolate lava cake, the cake was cold so it means they just couldn't put it in the microwave long enough. Very good service. The place is not big but there are outdoor seatings which were quite pleasant for a December evening. We ordered pork loin and duck which were nicely prepared and fulfilling. No need for starter. The house red wine Saint-Marie by the glass was less good than expected and did not pair well with the food. While the duck was delicious it was intense on Chinese spices thus lost its European appeal as one would expect for a pre X-mas meal. But the pork loin was perfect. Moist from inside. Usually, I'd get wine directly from the WC restaurant but today I didn't have a car so I called and asked if they could deliver. The manager/ supervisor, Miss Ting Tong was super helpful and gave me payment details. As I wasn't able to pay via transfer, she offered to deliver herself. She arrived at my house in no time with bottles of my favourite wine.
