Sicha’s cafe and restaurant — Restaurant in Chanthaburi Province

Definitely need to train the employees. I really wanted to try the beef steak bowl on the very top page in the menu. But I couldn’t find the name of the meal in the menu so I pointed the picture to let the server know which one I want. After the long wait, I got the meal served finally but it’s not the one I asked for. I got the beef steak on the plate with French fries. As you can see the picture, I order the steak bowl. I told the server but he just said that’s the one and he knows he got it wrong but just don’t admit it. Seriously?? We waited too long for the meal and didn’t want waste anymore time so I just had what I got but the worst part is the steak is really burned. The menu said medium rare and yes the inside is still red but outside is black!! I only could eat the 2 pieces in the middle still tastes burnt but better than the other pieces. The thin part of the meat is like eating coals. They cannot cook the steak properly even though it’s the most expensive and signature food of them. DO NOT order steak, just have some beef fried rice. I thought that this restaurant had a lot of potential because it was a cool design and the outdoor area was pretty. The food was disappointing - the signature dish was 420 THB but not worth this cost because it was under-seasoned and a bit overcooked. Our dishes came out about 10 mins apart. The design of the restaurant is very nice, as well the garden, where you can sit a bit apart from others. The atmosphere is good. Everything is clean, what I really appreciate. My beef curry could have been better, the meat was not that good. The egg omelette was deep-fried and very oily. Drinks we got after the meal, because they forgot them.
