What a gem near work! Amazing Italian cafe fare with standout boozy ice cream desserts. Came by with work so got to try an extensive part of the menu and everything that I put in my mouth (including a cocktail, 3 starters, 5 different types of pastas and 5 desserts) was delicious including the pillowy soft short ribs. Their truffle cream sauce were super creamy and savory to Thai taste. Scallop cream Cappelli was a standout and cocktail was also pretty and very nice. Atmosphere was a spacious loft with spiral stairs and a garden. Place was packed on a week day and parking was available but limited and you get pretty boxed up but host very helpful in the traffic direct.

This restaurant is pretty close to my grandparents’ house, so every time I go to Thailand, I have to stop by. The food is great, the atmosphere is lovely, and everyone is friendly. My fiancé (now husband) and I decided to have our family dinner there the night before our wedding. Chef Chom, the owner, went above and beyond, surprising us with a cake he made resembling the poppy field where I was proposed to over a year ago. Highly recommend! We will definitely return every time we go to Thailand!

My experience at Home Ground BKK was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! The food was amazing and unlike anything else I’ve tried in Bangkok. You can tell so much thought went into the flavor profiles of each dish, presentation, and restaurant decor. Our favorites were the crispy tou, duck confit (duck was so crispy!), and the lamb shank risotto. Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious and unique food.
