บ้านผ่อดอยกอยดาว (Baan Porhdoi Goidao) — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I stayed one night at one of the beautiful bungalows of Baan Porhdoi Goidao resort (บ้านผ่อดอยกอยดาว) in Chiang Dao area. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience. The place located in the middle of a large rice field with beautiful view of the mountains and was very quiet during the day and night. The bungalow is tastefully decorated, very specious, equipped with everything you need. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and the shower had hot water. There was an AC (very silent when operating) and a wall fan. The free Wi-Fi was more than enough to do your standard tasks. You had the feeling that the building was well planned, with attention to detail. During my stay, they were building two more bungalows and the building work didn’t disturb me at all.

The garden area around the reception/Café, and the sitting areas (outside) are well maintained. There are lots of native plants everywhere and a fishpond next to the café/reception. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is freshly prepared (need to order) at a very reasonable price and food was very delicious. Also, coffee was very good.

A perfect escape from the city life. Set in between farm fields, you'll feel peaceful just by arriving there and taking in the green environment, the chirping of the birds, which then gives way to insects and frogs after sunset.

Highly recommend getting the barbeque. It's got enough meat to fill 2 people even if that's their first meal of the day haha.
