I visited based on the positive online reviews but was quite disappointed with the current state of the café. We were the only customers, so the air conditioning was off, making the indoor area very hot and stuffy. A significant issue was the strong animal odor in the dining area, as the meerkats had been moved into a small cage there, reportedly due to flooding in their enclosure. Other animals were also kept in small cages. The elephants were not available for viewing. The food and drinks were standard and acceptable. Read more[please "like" if this is helpful] I love this place for being on a scenic lake. The restaurant is enclosed with glass, so no problem with mosquitoes.
Food is good, made to order. They were glad to accommodate me as a vegan.
Cafe offers the usually comfort beverages.
Staff are friendly.
There is a small animal zoo attached to the restaurant.
Note: rainy season can make the general area problematic so maybe call or message to be sure the restaurant is open when folding is occurring...

They just don’t understand that animals need to be treated with respect. One of them was in their own pen, nothing but concrete, with their head pressed against the floor. Zero stimulation.
Note to the owner: Smart tourists will absolutely hate this based on how you take care of these animals....
