Ban Suan Salad Maejo — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

It's a lovely quiet garden dining setting (plus A/C room) situated around a small fish pond with thai food. I've been eating here many times over the last ten years. Sadly, standards are declining while prices are now on the higher end relative to quality and size. The restaurant always employed students from the nearby university as waiter staff. In the past, they were well trained and polite. Now, they appear disconnected and inattentive, as if they had no adult supervision any more. Food now is just so-so, appears to be prepared and served without pride. And, today, even without the obligatory empty plate, fork and spoon. Maybe just a bad day, so I might give it just...

Hearty salads found here! Everything tastes fresh and is very well presented. The salad dressing is homemade–I think–and has a unique flavor compared to the generic salad cream found all over Thailand. The service is very polite and attentive, moving fans around and putting out mosquito repellant for your comfort.

สำหรับผม ก็มาทานเรื่อยๆ แต่ครั้งนี้ไม่โอเค คือ

ไปทานกลางวันอากาศร้อนอบอ้าว พัดลมตั้งโต๊ะ 2 ตัวเอาไม่อยู่ ส่วนพัดลมติดเพดานเสีย (น้องเด็กเสิร์ฟแจ้งมา) 🥵 เข้าไปมีโต๊ะก่อนหน้าแค่ 1 โต๊ะ แต่น้องเด็กเสิร์ฟ 2 คนเดินไปหลังครัวสักพักใหญ่ๆ สรุปต้องเดินไปหยิบเมนูเอง 🤔 สั่งอาหารอย่างหนึ่งโดยชี้ให้ดูภาพ และขอให้น้องที่รับ order ทวนออเดอร์อีกรอบแล้ว แต่พออาหารมาสรุปว่า ไม่เหมือนภาพ (น้องที่รับ order จดผิดหรือแม่ครัวทำผิดหรือสื่อสารไม่ตรงกันอย่างไรก็ไม่ทราบ) 😠 แจ้งน้องเด็กเสิร์ฟว่าน้ำดื่มแต่ละแก้ว ไม่ต้องเทเยอะ แต่เหมือนน้องฟังไม่เข้าใจ...
