Beef Land Steakhouse — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Beef Land is an interesting place. It has moved and is tucked away behind One Condo basically in the midst of a construction site. Google Maps will take you into the condo, but the restaurant is outside the complex in an open-air area. The kitchen itself and a small dining area are in containers. I assume this is a temporary set-up as the surrounding area is developed. The place is run by a very nice lady, and service is welcoming. The menu is plagued by ‘out of stock’ labels, but don’t be put off by this. The meat itself is excellent and pretty good value. There is a nice selection of cuts, including a wide range of Wagyu. The house wine was nothing special, but there is a small wine list available by the bottle. The steaks are served with corn and edamame. I ordered fries to go along with my strip loin, and they were excellent. I knocked a star off the food because the steak lacked a nice char. I think the grill was not hot enough as we went for lunch and there was not a lot of customer turnover to keep the grill going. Every dish was delicious, especially the steak — the quality of the meat here is outstanding, arguably the best in Chiang Mai. It’s on par with what you’d find at high-end hotel restaurants! 🥩✨ The steak was tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection — every bite was pure bliss.

The service was also excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and offered great recommendations. The overall vibe felt warm and personable.

All in all, I was truly impressed — from the ambiance to the flavors to the service.

A very nice Japanese hot pan style steak (comes with onion, corn, and edamame.) They offer both imported beef from Australia and Japan as well as Thai beef. Grill stoves are also a choice if you want to BBQ it yourself.

The owners are very kind and welcoming and will kindly give recommendations concerning the food.
