Gafre Café — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

The food was quite nice and a big menu but unfortunately it was one of the most uncomfortable meals I've ever had because of the staff. 2 of them stood less than 2m away watching me eat every mouthfull and insisted they poured my drink even though i was mixing beer and sprite. Come 9:30pm they moved closer hinting at me to get my bill and leave as i was the only customer and they wanted to close early...... I'll never eat here again because of the staff 😥

Came here for dinner. More of a restaurant than a cafe. Fairly extensive menu for lunch and dinner and for both solo and group diners. Indoor and garden setting. In the evening bring something for mosquitoes if in the garden and it’s been raining, wear something warm if in the back room, and don’t forget the earplugs if sensitive to sound when there is live entertainment…:) Joking aside though, a very decent place to eat in the evening. Gafre Cafe is a good spot to try when in Fang. We had lunch. The menu was mostly Thai standards, and they were pretty good, but nothing exceptional. I think they used a lot of MSG in the food.

Service was friendly, and the food came out alarmingly quickly. Prices are very reasonable.

The atmosphere is good. The indoors is industrial with polished concrete floor, but nice enough. The outdoor garden was really nice and would be a great place for an early...
