Green Moon Cafe & Bistro — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

I usually love this place. The environment is nice and relaxed and the food is good. The owner is friendly and attentive. They serve a lot of the management from a manufacturer located nearby. I would stop by weekly to get lunch after my meeting at the factory.

Today, maybe it's a bit too relaxed because I am here now for 45 minutes after ordering pasta and am still waiting. My friend just received his pasta dish, and I see others who arrived after us with food already 😋 good for them.

Serving one person their meal and waiting over 20 minutes until the other is served is just poor coordination and basic restaurant 101.

I am very surprised because it's not crowded and there are many staff, and the owner is in the kitchen.

I eventually had to take it away because my coworker had finished eating already for 10 minutes, and there was no time left to eat during my lunch break.

It's a lovely place and I hope that they can improve on their service in the future. If they do make a mistake or have an issue, I suggest that they do more to take care of the unhappy customer than to just say...

My wife and I moved toi Chiang Mai a few months ago and we have been exploring the surrounding area. Came upon Green Moon Cafe & Bistro while driving on the 1317 highway. An absolutely wonderful place. If you are living in the surrounding area and have transportation, you must visit. They have western and thai dishes here. Definitely worth a trip if you’re looking for great coffee and delicious food. The owners are friendly and it has a personal touch that makes Green Moon a pleasantly unique place to visit.

They have a variety of coffee and tea as well as food. You can get anything from pizza to sandwiches to desserts like cake and brownies.
