Food was super on point here. We loved every dish we ordered especially the deep fried Chiang da and, of course, the Khao Soi. The egg crab paste was a dish we’ve tried for the first time only and very creamy and delicious with a significant roe taste. We wanted to try the frog legs too but were too full in the end. The restaurant is situated next to a fairly large rice field and it was quite nice to watch the tractor work.
The reason we took away a star was because of the lack of maintenance of the venue. We were there on a Friday night during low season and were only one of two tables. Two issues arose: 1) the restaurant was out of chopsticks so my partner and I had to share one pair between us to eat our Khao Soi 🤣🤣 and 2) the toilets were out of order. Never came across a thai northern style that match our expection. We came from central Thailand, and their food has such a wonderful taste. At first we thought we ordered too much, but the food is extraordinarily delicious. We can't help but to finish it. And the price is pretty fair and on a cheap side.
It locates in quite a local residential zone, but got ample carpark space. No air-con but to witness the local indigenous. I can't say none but please come.

I was told the wait for food will be hour after 30 minutes for the table at 3 pm on a Monday. If I knew I’d have to wait 1.5 hours, I’d have gone elsewhere.
I ended up ordering something that would have been premade so I can get the food earlier. After 40 minutes, the food that would need cooking are not served. The water we ordered was never served either.
The bathroom was dirty.
