I had high expectations coming into this place as it was recommended to me by someone. Let's start with the pros. This place is really beautiful. They have a rabbit island and lots of nature around. The decor is amazing. The bathroom is quite nice as well.
Now when it came to the food, I was quitr disappointed. The bottle of water and cup came out dirty but the waiter promptly replaced it. The chicken karaage had no flavor, and the sauce was just mayonnaise. For 275 baht, I expected more. There was an egg shell piece in my tonkatsu don even visible in the photo. On top of that, there was no napkin or towel to wipe our mouths.

Read moreException quality food for all our meals as guests of the Onsen @ Moncham (3 breakfast, 3 dinner). Every dish was exquisite, fresh, balanced, flavoursome and beautifully presented. Plenty of variety, with nice wine selection, spirits and unique cocktails.
The outlook across the property elevates the dining experience and service is attentive and personal. Chef Tom and kitchen team produces consistently amazing food.
Only comment is that the menus are a little confusing, with some items including drinks and service charge/govt tax, and others without. I'd prefer to see all-inclusive costs...

Food is good. We have had a variety of dishes as we visit Mon Cham often.
The have Asahi on draft which is a plus. Japanese array of alcohol is pretty good too.
Definitely a place to stop by whenever you are in Mon Cham.
Very nice views of the Japanese gardens too. Our favourite time is during green season where you can see mist form over the gardens...
