Mug Cafe And Bistro — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

For the price of their Espresso and Americano (just 45 baht), you cannot find a single better cup of coffee in the entire city of Chiang Mai. Only Alti Coffee (on Hang Dong road) can compare with the taste of coffee to match any artisan, any in-house roaster, for such an amazing price.

Inside the cafe as well, there is comfortable seating, a wonderful atmosphere, unique design, and even a miniature jungle just outside the window (which is full of safe areas for which your kids can play, this is one of the most family-friendly cafes around as well).

The only downside to this cafe is its location, a bit outside of town, but it is much more quiet, the calm is only possible here because of its location, slightly removed from the downtown busy areas...

Loft style coffee shop and restaurant with easy access from a main highway south of the city. Pleasant shaded garden area with fun features for adventurous children. Very reasonably priced but limited menu. Maybe a previous reviewer did not find the coffee to their taste but I found it bold which suited me fine. A choice of having it served in a mug as well as a cup would be even better (especially as the name of the shop is "Mug" lol). Staff are courteous and the owner cheerful...

Had coffee and breakfast. Coffee was great food was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only thing I did not like was that we could not bring our doggie. I fully understand why, just was hoping for a dog friendly environment to make it a regular visit for us from time to time. Now, I think we will skip it moving forward only because of this reason.
