SCENERY: 4/5 • During the day, it’s alittle too hot to walk around this nice scenery place, and the Taiyaki store are located alittle too far away. •Good location to take a photo • Water are muddy. No Koi fish which is a bummer. Or I did not see one because of the muddy water.

FOOD: 4/5 • Tempura is good (though there’s no sauce, apparently that’s their recipe) alittle salty which is probably why they did not give you sauce, I like it better with rice. • Donkatsu when you bite it melt, the taste is up to the person, but I personally like it. Not that bad at all~ they also have potato salad which I say so-so & vegetable and sauce which is also so-so. They will give you donkatsu and salad sauce. • Yakitori is also nice texture and alittle sweet but it does seem like chicken with sauce added later on. • Soba set is really nice~ my mom like it, I didn’t taste it but she said the green tea noodle are smooth and nice. • Squid Karaage is so-so I didn’t personally like it. I think Fuji Restaurant taste better but that’s just me. • Chiken Karaage is just chiken karaage, I wasn’t that impressed, taste like the usual one.

DRINKS: • Green Tea Latte is not to sweet which is what I really LOVE, so this drink I love it~!

DESSERTS: • Hojicha Affagato, the hojicha drink is bitter, which goes really nice with the vanilla ice cream. ❤️ • Dango, the mochi have coconut filling inside which makes it sweet, they also have soybean powder that we can dip. • Green Tea Crepe with sweet sticky rice, mango and Coconut ice cream. Taste like normal mango sticky rice, if you know the taste it’s pretty much the same but with green tea...

Japanese themed cafe a short drive outside of Chiang Mai, but not a difficult drive. It has a large parking lot suitable for both cars and bikes, but not large tour buses. I wish the signage to get there was a little bigger/more specific, but we found it after only one wrong turn.

The cafe has a variety of seating options, both indoor and outdoor and some private venues for housing large groups. There are two small gift shops I saw, one for Japanese snacks and one for souvenirs and clothes you can rent to wear while at the cafe. It's popular with the Instagram crowds to dress in Japanese style while there and take lots of photos.

Menu was quite large, but there weren't a lot of vegetarian options that I can recall. (I didn't order any food, so I can't comment on its quality.) Drinks were pretty good if a little on the sweet side. Prices seemed fair overall, and considering I spent 2-3 here with my girlfriend, I'd say it was...

Lovely Japanese styled Café about 25minutes drive outside of Chiang Mai.

Although this place may appear to bit at bit over the top kitsch, it’s actually a very nice place to spend an afternoon in nature and tranquility. The café is on a large plot of land that is styled like a Japanese garden with tori gate, red bridges and a koi pond. The seating is comfortable western style chairs, or if you fancy – they also have Japanese tatami mats to sit on. We came after lunch and only had deserts, which were very tasty and very reasonably priced for this kind of setting.

When we visited on a weekday afternoon at around 3pm it was very quiet and lovely. However, I can imagine that it would get very crowded on weekends or during...
