WTF offers a unique experience in the mountains outside Chiang Mai. Here, you’ll find yourself sipping coffee under a tree by a waterfall in the calming sounds of water falling from a 150-ft rocky cliff, biting authentic Italian pizza in AC’ed sunroom by a creek, swimming in an expansive infinity pool with a beautiful waterfall in the background, or just chilling over happily flowing creek waters while watching dragonflies with cyan-colored wings cruising along the creek in total nonchalance or dozens of yellow butterflies congregating on the tiny sand beach between boulders and then seemingly abruptly calling off the meeting and flying away in solo or in pairs. In case you wonder, there are no mosquitoes, perhaps thanks to certain measures taken by the property manager.
It’s the end of the rainy season. All trees appear well nourished. The meadows are in tender green. All kinds of flowers bloom in full liberty, enhancing the scenery with lively colors and adding fragrances to the mountain breeze.
They have a burger store, a pizzeria, a cafe, a mocha place, a gelato store, and possibly a guesthouse with swimming pool. I’m impressed they have at least two public restroom facilities in the area, both well maintained.
I don’t have a lot to say about the food because we had just eaten our lunch before we visit WTF. However, judging from the number of guests in the eateries, the food must be good. We had Americano and cappuccino though, both really good.
They charge 100 baht for each person at the entrance but half of that can be applied to your food or drink orders. It’s well worth it given the capital investment the owner might have plowed into this business. They continue to develop the property with construction underway. So this resort is worth...
Read moreFollowing the map, it’s easy to find if you’re coming from the city (Chotana Road). The drive isn’t too bad, but we came from the other side via Route 1096—lots of curves! We rented a 1.5L car, which handled the trip comfortably. The place has a camping vibe, as the name suggests. There’s a waterfall, a swimming pool, and it’s pet-friendly, which is great for those bringing their furry friends. The restaurant is divided into multiple stations: • Coffee shop • Ice cream shop • Matcha shop • Pizza + Khao Soi shop • Burger shop • Possibly a wine bar upstairs Everything is self-service, meaning you order, pick up your food, and find a table yourself. We sat at the pizza shop because we came mainly for the food and weren’t keen on sitting outdoors. However, the tables were tiny—just placing a pizza tray took up all the space! Same with the Khao Soi tray. It felt a bit unbalanced. As for the food, some dishes were delicious, while others were just okay and didn’t quite match the price—especially the pizza. ‼️Entry fee: 100 THB per person, but only 50 THB can be used as credit for purchases.‼️ If you’re coming here, you really have to plan for it—it’s not the kind of place you casually drop by. Would I come back?...

Entrance tickets : 100 baht a person . Ticket can be exchanged for drinks.
Food : We had northern Thai sausage pizza. Fantastic pizza. Definitely recommended. They have Khao SOI also 🥰🍜
Drink : We all had hot chocolate . In this cold weather, best drink to pair with to warm you up ☕❤️😁
Seating / dining : Love how they have mapped out the seating areas. Ample seating to suit your mood for the day. Outside the coffeeshop or by the side of the slope with a tent to give you camping vibes.
What's nearby : กังสดาล รีสอร์ท ( Kangsadarn Resort ) has good views of the waterfall and looks like a well managed resort. We plan to check it out in Feb before we head...
