“All about Sweet “ Maechan — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Cute setting, with nice seating in the garden or in the "greenhouse". Some of the food was to an excellent standard, like the rice with shrimp paste, or the roti. Unfortunately the Massaman curry had one or two spices overpowering the rest. Coconut cake was great, red velvet cake was pretty good too. Some of the fruit smoothies were superb, whilst the banoffee shake was a disappointment. Overall worth a look, but there will be a couple "misses" to go...

As you can see from the photos, this place has a wonderful, inviting decor and vibe. Massive grounds with many different seating areas.

Good selection of common Thai dishes (the Hang Lat roti is great!)

Staff are friendly and helpful!

The only problem here is the mosquitos!🦟!!! If they bother you, then this place is not for you. Otherwise, lovely experience and a place to chill on...

Happy to see it open again. The new venue is pleasent and relaxing atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Good menu choice with a variety of hot and cold drinks, prices reasonable. I so pose a negative comment would be once in one of the restaurant there is no way to communicate with the staff except getting up and walking outside, not pleasent when raining. However, will...
