Far away from the city but worth the visit.

The place is cozy with calm atmosphere. Outdoor seat are facing the lake. When I came, saw no foreigners except me and a bit afraid when ordering cause of my limited Thai language but the staff welcomed with warm and friendly gesture and few of them speak English well.

Tbh, some restaurants with concept usually only selling the place and view without put attention to the taste of their menus but this place is exceptional. They have variety of interesting menus. I ordered (forgot the name) spaghetti with steak in Mala sauce. All blends just perfect 🤩 even they asked how I want the steaks to be, I thought the steaks not the main character 😆 It’s a must try menu. Then ordered crème brûlée for dessert, served with homemade salty chocolate chip cookies and danish, and it’s a WOW duet. Must try too. For drink, I ordered Something No.4, it’s one of their signature mix tea. Try to order cold without sugar, it helped the heat after riding with such distance 😃 I appreciate the chef and the owner of this place!

One of the staff came to me asking about the food and had a chitchat a bit. And overall, I’m happiest customer and will be back next time in Chiang Rai.

The atmosphere is probably the best in Chiang Rai due to sheer size and effort put into it.

Service is impeccable as the staff is always nearby but not in your face.

The food is good for the price. I ate pork steak (in the picture) with very good mash potatoes and surprisingly the Khao neow (sticky rice) with fried pork is better. The only reason the review isn't 5* is because the size of the pork ribs (a separate dish) is huge for 550 baht. I fully expect a small/medium size serving at different price range and not an one price/one size option. Most restaurants would have this as a standard practice as it's too much for one, too little variety for two yet filling for two, putting us at an awkward position. In the end didn't eat what I came for.

The longan smoothie drink is ok as it's something off season so it might have lost some of the nature sweet taste found in local longan during peak season on...

To say this place is beautiful is an understatement. The pond, the walkway, the landscaping, the buildings are all impeccably designed. Food presentation was also top notch. Service was decent but we came at a slow time so not sure about when it’s busy. As for the food, the BBQ ribs were amazing. The other things we ordered were ok but a few small things kept it from being brilliant. For example, the crème brûlée was a bit runny although the taste was good. The ice cream had a bit too much guar gum and was kind of sticky. The whipped cream was a bit bland. All small things, admittedly.
