ร้านอาหารครัวไท (Thai Kitchen ) — Restaurant in Chiang Saen district

A menu so used that I wanted to have it out of sight, a waiter so boring that I was fine when he left, mosquitos so fierce I was jumping up and down, ... but the food was inexpensive and some items were in fact good: fried rice, fried mushroom, fried Thai broccoli, Thai omelette with Cassia leaves, shrimp in fish sauce, all were good and plentiful, would just not order the Giant Mekhong fish anymore, which I found a bit greasy, but that is by the fish and not the kitchen. Go here for the river view, food average, this from a local, decent prices, the rest inside is nice enough, average service, parking can tighten, watch for the big tour busses, if they are there, don't go, service, kitchen will be swamped, English by a couple staffers (I speak Thai) so don't necessarily count on it, decent menu, get the mekong...

อย่างที่ได้เคยเขียนบทความร้านอาหารมาครั้งก่อน หากมาเชียงแสน ที่พลาดไม่ได้เลยคือ ปลาแม่น้ำโขง ของสด อร่อย มีปลาน้ำจืด ที่จับในแม่น้ำโขง ให้เลือกรับประทานมากมาย ทั้ง ปลาค้าว ปลาบึก ปลาคัง ปลาเนื้ออ่อน เป็นต้น ของร้านอาหารครัวไท ทำเมนูปลามาได้เด็ดมาก อร่อย สด ไม่คาว รวมถึงที่ชอบที่สุดคือ ทางร้าน เราะก้างออกแทบจะ99% ที่ทานไป ไม่มีก้างเลย เรียกได้ว่าลิ้มรสความอร่อยได้เต็มที่ ไม่ต้องกังวลเรื่องก้างปลาเลย ชอบตรงนี้มากๆ

บรรยากาศของร้าน ติดริมน้ำ มีสองชั้น นั่งทานไป รับบรรยากาศริมแม่น้ำโขง ยิ่งถ้ามาช่วงหน้าหนาว ได้รับไอเย็นๆจากอากาศแล้ว บอกได้เลยว่า คุ้มค่าจริงๆกับการมาเชียงแสน สัมผัสอากาศหนาว ลมเย็นๆ ทานปลาน้ำจืดจากแม่น้ำโขง ชมวิวทิวทัศน์ของแม่น้ำโขง แค่นี้ก็เป็นความรู้สึกที่หากได้มาแล้วจะจดจำไปได้อีกนาน
