BOR-BAIMAI — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

4 of us had lunch and had higher then usual expectations as we understood the owner is a serious Chef with "Cordon Blue Certificate". Unfortunately it wasn't such a great dining experience. The small cafe style eatery seems a bit neglected with upkeep of Thai-fusion food concept, interior maintenance and service was likewise not really great...never got a welcome nor a single smile nor any recommendations etc 🤔

The food was rather mediocre, reall to nithjngg tv to go with Thsi-Fusion and not cheap! Korean Chicken bbq (about 150gr) was bland tasting and served with Heinz Mustard(??) at 195.-!! Mussle stir-fried was way way too oily with undercooked huge chunks of onions and the Thai Seafood Spaghetti were salty. Fried rice set was good and so was the baked cheese spinach, French fries and Cappuccino.

Now to the cake! As the Cordon-Blue Certificate is for Pasties we really thought the cake would be wow... however it wasn't... just standard cake off the shelf one can find in any roadside cafe.

So... overall not really good but just ok! We don't want to stop anyone gokng to this place so... Please try yourself and...

This is a nice coffee shop with desserts. I think the food quality has gone downhill. No chef was onsite, and you could tell. My dish Korean chicken tasted like it was thawed and recooked. It also had ground bones in the meat. It was not the correct texture, and it was swimming in sauce. The food did not look anything like other visits there. If they can not cook the dish correctly, it should be removed from the menu. Rice was rice. It also came with some French's mustard, not the Korean dipping sauce?? Chef what happened? I had to go to the front and ask for the bill, but they had to dig in their pockets to try and break a 1000 for a 500+ baht lunch.

Earlier review: Great restaurant here in Sattahip! Delicious food and fruit slushies are awesome, too. Inside and outside seating. We had the Korean chicken, which was great by itself, but it also had a little dipping sauce. Mmm. The restroom needs a big upgrade. Cakes and coffee are above average but not that excellent. I didn’t take a single photo. Anyway, you can try all those in the fridge. The one freshly made are not as good.
