La 500 Italian Pizzeria — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

I have been there 2 times. The first time I had a Pizza Salami. The pizza and the plate was full with oil. My 2nd visit I had a margarita. The pizza was good and tasty. With my 2nd visit I came with my wife, she had a hawain pizza, she says the pineapple were not fresh. The service was OK and the staff very friendly. Great view to the sea. What a great little gem in Ban Chang! I had the Pizza Diavola and it was amazing – super flavorful with a nice spicy kick, baked in a real wood-fired oven (check the photo – this is the real deal!). The crust was crisp, the toppings were fresh, and the price was very reasonable. The place is quiet and cozy, the owner is super friendly and clearly passionate about what he does. I had the Quattro pizza - ham, artichoke, mushrooms, black olives. I quite enjoyed it with a drizzle of their chilli oil. My husband had the carbonara which we felt was a little dry and bland. We were recommended an Australian red wine which was ok. Good service from the staff who were eager to please. It was a lovely al fresco dinner with a good breeze. Will definitely return to try other items...
