En route to Pattaya City recently, our Thai hosts, driving us, specially stopped at Pa Boon Cafe (Aunty Boon Cafe) for a break and a Thai cuisine lunch. It was like visiting a cafe in a adventure theme park (dinosaurs, aeroplanes, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, swans, ducks and koi fishes dominating the place). Parking sure took a while (some 20 minutes), so it must have been some distance away or very well used to capacity. The group gamely queued up for a "hut" booking (with "chabudai" low-table seating arrangement): happily it was "available" to us after some 30 minutes. Veritably, this quaint furniture allowed for a variety of fresh seating arrangements (some rather uncomfortable becos' unusual). Beautifully-crafted cakes and desserts and hot drinks like coffee were served at the aircon cafe, but this was with limited seating. We ordered for our group of five some Thai signature dishes: deep-fried sea-bass, seafood fried-rice, Thai lotus-stem salad, seafood curry in young coconut, deep-fried Thai shrimp-cake, Thai stir-fried crabmeat in spicy curry-powder. The food ordered were highly enjoyable and satisfactory, delish! The attending staff (always within a short-call distance) was totally attentive and responsive to our cues and needs. Thumbs...

The location It is nice an accessible located next to the main road so getting to the place is not difficult to find. There’s lots of parking.

The place It is well designed with a good farm-feel landscape. I love the area where you are just next to the fish. There’s lots of old trees next to each other that makes for a good ambiance. Other areas include, a playground for your toddlers and another for those who want to see ducks, chickens, rabbits and turtles.

I saw eggs next to a tree. I am not sure if it was from chickens or from ducks.

When we were there, it took a long time for us to get a table -like more than 40 mins. One reason for this is because some parts of the place is under construction. They are clearly increasing the number of tables which is good for feature visits. Another reason for the long wait is the fact that the place is nice to relax and a lot of visitors would extend their stay (for 40 mins or even more) after eating.

The food It is definitely above average but it is not life changing. Most are reasonably priced.

Conclusion This place is worth a visit for the place, ambiance and the activities you can do. The food...

I recently visited this amazing cafe and had a wonderful experience. The place is very beautiful, neat, and clean. The ambience is calm and relaxing, perfect for spending time with family or friends. One of the best features is the dining area – it’s surrounded by a lovely fish pond full of colorful carp fish. It feels peaceful and very special.

They also have private AC rooms and cute little huts built over the pond where you can enjoy your meal. It’s a great setup for both comfort and a unique dining experience.

There are a few friendly animals around and a nice play area for kids, which makes it a perfect spot for both children and adults. The food was very tasty and not too expensive.

The only thing to keep in mind is that when you enter the cafe, you need to book your queue number first to get a table. So it’s best to arrive a little early, especially on busy days.

But the highlight of our visit was definitely the staff – they were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Their warm and caring service made the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this cafe for a relaxing and...
