After being told by a local Thai friend about how good and highly rated this place is, I decided to check it out myself. It was exactly one hour drive from Bangkok, and very conveniently located next to the main highway. Arrived around 12 noon to enjoy my brunch. The free car park area next to the Cafe was almost full and from first look, it looked very busy with people walking in and out, which was actually helpful in guiding new visitors to the way in as I couldn't figure out the entrance. There is no doubt how well known this Cafe is to the local, especially the young generation. Walking in along a narrow footpath beside the water canal/pond, lined with carefully selected trees and shrubs, and complemented with a rope swing here, and a resting bench or other set of arrangement, offering stunning scenes, perfect for taking selfies and nature photos. On approach the the first structure (open sided large shed with a number of dining tables, and at one side was a service counter with a longish queue. At a glance, noticed what was on display, which was mainly desserts (small bites), and drinks. Going through the first shed and trying to find a vacant table was very hard to find, and no help was available on site. People are everywhere, and almost every available space was occupied. Waiting for someone to vacate a space was very difficult for a man at my age, others beat me to it without considerations on who came first. Unfortunately, I left the place with an empty stomach when I waited about 15 minutes, which I really enjoyed the beautiful nature around me. Had to drive all the way to Pattaya for my brunch which became early dinner. In general, such a beautiful place that shows how much work is being put into it to keep it that way. There is no doubt that all available staff (few) are giving it 100%, yet it is not enough to cater for the large influx of customers. I think providing some additional staff to assist customers in parking, directions, queuing, seating, signage, etc. will definitely make things much better. I wish I had a chance to rate the food and drinks and probably I might pay a visit again...

Read moreI understand this was a "soft opening", but... we waited 40 minutes for 2 thai tea coffee that were already made (nothing to do just pour in glass and done in 3 minutes top) therefore the management should be revised to prioritize tasks or parallel them. Also the pickup area should be AFTER the cashier not before as this creates disruption in the queue process, again management not done correctly or wrongly designed. About the taste, it was just average, same as any kind of thai tea from the market or 7/11 nothing special. Atmosphere was just ok. Too much people, not enough seats, no one to help customers or elderly people, this must be improved. And don't forget this is between 2 major highway so you can hear the trucks, motorcycles and cars, plus the area is kind of dirty (construction?). If you never went to a coffee outside Bangkok you may feel that is great or fantastic, well it is just a normal place once you know all other coffee nothing special. All in all, you can go there if you can afford to wait 30+ minutes for a drink in the hot weather with no seats in the middle of 2 highways. A lot must be improved here, so let's see after the "soft opening" is completed but even so I don't understand why this area was selected it is too close...
