I recently dined at The Loft with another couple, and I must say, our experience was extremely disappointing. The entire meal was overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior of our waitress, which completely ruined what could have been an enjoyable evening.
Right from the start, the waitress displayed an exceptionally rude and impatient attitude. Things took a turn for the worse when my friend, who was on a diet, simply inquired about how a particular meal was prepared. Instead of providing a helpful response, the waitress responded with contempt and displayed a complete lack of professionalism.
It is truly disheartening to see a business owner employ such ill-tempered staff members who clearly do not understand the importance of customer service and representing the establishment in a positive light. The waitress's behavior not only ruined our dining experience but also reflected poorly on The Loft as a whole.
Regrettably, I have to say that this will be my last visit to The Loft, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this establishment to any of my friends or acquaintances. A business that tolerates and enables such behavior from its staff does not deserve the patronage of discerning customers.
I hope the management takes this review seriously and addresses the issue promptly. There is a dire need for better training and supervision of the staff to ensure that customers are treated with respect and courtesy. Until significant changes are made, I cannot endorse or support The Loft as a dining option.
Please accept this review as constructive feedback, and I sincerely hope that steps are taken to rectify these issues in the future.
UPDATE! In response to the owners feedback; the waitress was roughly 40-50 years old with shoulder length hair. We dined there on Fri 19th May in the evening. One of the things the waitress said to my wife in Thai is; "if you're going to be picky with your order you should just cook at home...
Read moreTo all Loft staff, First, I apologize for my son's unloving actions today. From the fact that they scattered foam beads all over the game room at the store. There were 4 small children inside, including my son. I don't know who started it, but I'm ready to compensate if there's any damage, including cleaning costs. If the male owner didn't start off with rude words when he saw the situation. and used rude words to my family members if I couldn't control my son (3.5 years). I'm not sure if he was drunk or not because he was drinking with his friends. All the time we've been eating at the restaurant since my eldest son. (The youngest one hasn't been born yet.) Until now, the youngest one is 3.5 years old. For more than 5 years, we come almost every week. Until the employees in the restaurant know us And I think I'm the only Thai family that regularly eats at this restaurant. My family likes the atmosphere of the restaurant that has a playground for the children. Including delicious food and drinks. My wife often recommends this restaurant to his friends who bring their families to eat here. My family had an affection for The Loft from when we lived around the lake previously. We moved back and were excited to go again (my son loves the cooked breakfast).
Unfortunately, we had a couple of bad experiences, but were still willing to give them a try. Visited with my son and ordered a beer & coke before deciding what we were going to eat. The waitress was distracted and gave my 13 year old the beer 😀, swapped it over and the beer was so warm that I ordered a glass & ice (this is Thailand!) & was presented with a boiling hot glass. The waitress explained it was just cleaned, so ok to drink from 😳. I ordered steak and kidney pie, which turned out to be stone cold in the middle and took another 25 minutes to get back after I complained, by which time my son had finished.
