Tropical Restaurant — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

Food was very tasty and within the expected price range. Service from the girls was excellent. Downside. The owner/manager just sits at the bar playing on his phone. No interaction with customers whatsoever. Except when we ask for Irish Coffees. Much discussion with the waitress, then eventually the owner/manager turns around and says "We don't do Irish Coffees". Then turns back to his phone. Not "I'm sorry but, or I'm afraid but". Just rude. How hard is it to make an Irish Coffee? Coffee and sugar in a glass. Add whiskey (preferably Irish). Canned cream on the top....

Not the first time that I have enjoyed a SMALL (before you keyboard warriors start!) English breakfast at this establishment. Ingredients are fresh and of good quality. I asked to hold the toast and in exchange they offered me an extra poached egg! Coffee and juice included. Staff efficient and super friendly. Tropical restaurant is also home of The Royal British Legion in Pattaya and there is some interesting military history displayed internally. (If that's your thing!??) This is a great little bar and Restaurant situated on Soi Boonsampan over on the dark side of Pattaya. It has plenty of parking out at the front for cats and bikes. Staff are friendly and orders are alway spot on. What makes this place great is the food. Lots of English and European dishes that are cooked just right and with generous portions.
