I had two different pizzas, both excellent. The nice thing here, you can order a small 8-inch pizza (as opposed to the regular 12-incher), which leaves space for other foods.

My special pizza recommendation is "Sophia Loren”; but i haven't tried “Miss Italia”... yet. No Thai misses on the menu.

Also the balsamico salad was lovely (won't eat a western salad with mayonnaise, even if Thais expect me to). They also serve homemade drinks like lemon, lemongrass, roselle, plus various homemade cakes and they brew the usual coffees. The special cakes from the blackboard Menu were’nt available when I asked.

You sit in a pleasant garden-like courtyard with some noise from street and next door car wash (where also the bathroom is located), but it seems to blend in with the low volume bar music from the loudspeaker and I found it overall relaxing.

In Thailand, I (westerner) do eat yam plamuek, tom yam kung, som tum, pla nueng manao, cappu yen etc etc all over the place. But once in a while, it's nice to “come home” to Western food, and Kalasino is a great option for that. The many Thai customers at Kalasino, on the other hand, seemed to savour the “foreign trip”.

(Sorry, this was written in English, and I don't know if the automatic Thai translation...

I was surprised to discover real Italian food in the heart of Isaan, but it is to be found here. I enjoyed the Kalasino pizza here together with a garlic, chilli and bacon spaghetti, and both were perfectly flavoured: distinct but not overwhelming, flavourful without (apparent) unnatural additives. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area (still surprised to find something so good...

Great restaurant, with excellent Italian and thai food and a friendly service

We discovered the place last week, had a delicious pizza, prepared in a genuine wood oven.

Decided to come back this week to try their pasta and Thai food. Again delicious. We had Pasta carbonara and Kanaa moo gorb, both really good

Nice place with good atmosphere and attentive friendly staff. We will definitely...

I was shocked to discover real wood-fired oven pizza available in a little town like Kalasin but it’s here. The cook is Thai/Swiss and the owner speaks excellent English. The pizza was exceptionally good for Thailand and just 300 baht - I got the Diabolo with salami and lots of chilli. Even the name is cool - a play on words in a foreign language - not something you expect in rural Thailand.
