Thammarat Phochana — Restaurant in Kamphaeng Phet Province

I visited this place twice during my travels in Thailand. If, like me, you are looking for a real typical thai restaurant and trying to avoid expensive places made for tourists, you will like this one: the food here is simple but the ingredients are fresh and the dishes have a rich and surprisingly intense flavour. My favourite one was the chopped pork slices with rice (I do not know how they call it in their language though): I think I got addicted to that :-) Thai people are really kind: someone from the staff even helped me getting around the city and gave some useful suggestions (...and I assure you that it is really hard to find people who can speak english in Thailand).
