Looked for restaurants in the area as we was driving through Sai Yok to head to Khao Laem National Park. There was not many to choose from but see this appearing as an Ad on google. At a glance reviews looked reasonable and with a name like ''bite of heaven'' and ''cafe and restaurant'' you would think that they would do fresh food..
Anyway, upon arriving with my Thai girlfriend we was not greeted with any smile from the staff. Including the waitress and the cashier, despite our kind manners, smiles and happy to be there.
Anyway, we proceeded to order food. We sat upstairs, and to our surprise the food is not fresh, it is frozen microwave food (we felt slightly mislead by the name of the business on google).
The lady who provided us with our food simply said nothing, no smile, not a word. Me and my girlfriend was in shock because it was so strange we even saw the light in it and found the entire experience funny.
Combining the poor service and food, I give this a 1* and certainly wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Edit: I forgot to add that myself and my girlfriend also had bad stomach the night of having the food, and the next day both felt sick. Unusual for us both, likely due to the reheated, frozen food! Take a look at other...
Read moreWe were so excited when we saw this place on our long journey. Went in and the first thing I saw was that the toilet was only for customers, and that there would be a 500 baht fine for anyone using the toilet who are not customers.
Then we went into this beautiful place that had a wonderful view. The aesthetics of the place was gorgeous.
No waitress comes to your table but instead, you order your food downstairs where it looks like there's a little coffee tea shop. So we ordered our food and then went and found our seat. No one else was there so it was very quiet. There was a couple of fans that we turned on because it was quite hot outside.
Then the lady came up and began to, from what it looks like, take food out of the freezer.
As I speak Thai, I went and ask her if the food was all frozen and then would be microwaved and she said yes
We really did not want microwave food so they were very kind to give us a refund
I think this place has a lot of potential, but I am not a fan of premade, frozen...
Read moreCame at 7 this noon... And the lady at the bar was pulling a face as if someone had done something to her. I should point out that there was only one couple, it was deserted. Not motivated, she didn't come to greet us, didn't bring us the menus. So it was my friend's wife who brought them back to us. The prices on the menu were super expensive, more expensive than a Wine Connection. Given the place and the crowd, my friend's wife asked directly if it was homemade, especially at those prices... Well no! It's reheated.
So we took our things and went to eat in another restaurant.
A word of advice to the owner of the establishment, spend more time with your customers who make the effort to come to your place, rather than taking nice pictures on...
