If I lived in Phuket I might not write this review to keep this place pristine. We came here at sunset with almost no-one here and as we lingered over our meal we found ourselves the only guests. But since we're leaving tomorrow PLEASE come check it out!

Incredible view for starters, with a really tasteful and minimalist decor. Excellent and attentive service with great food. Reasonable wine list by the glass, better by the bottle. Range of food - we had steak (perfectly cooked) and pasta, but there are burgers and thai food to boot.

Das La Cantina Steak House Ocean View in Karon liefert für mich aktuell das beste Steak auf Phuket – und ehrlich gesagt das beste weltweit, das ich bisher gegessen habe. Ich kenne bereits die Filiale in Rawai, aber der neue Standort hier mit Ocean View bietet noch mal ein besonderes Ambiente – vor allem der Sonnenuntergang ist hier wirklich unbezahlbar.

Das Essen ist durchgehend auf Spitzenniveau. Ich bestelle regelmäßig das Wagyu A5 – perfekt zubereitet, butterzart, intensiver Geschmack, absolut herausragend. Auch die Pasta ist ein echtes Highlight: hausgemacht, aromatisch, einfach richtig gut. Die Salate sind immer frisch, abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich top – ich habe schon mehrere Varianten probiert, alle waren uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert.

Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Das Personal ist freundlich, professionell und sorgt spürbar dafür, dass man sich rundum wohlfühlt.

Und was mich besonders positiv überrascht hat: Preislich ist das Ganze absolut top. Für die Qualität, die hier auf den Teller kommt, ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als fair.

Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die hochwertiges Essen, exzellenten Service und eine traumhafte Aussicht suchen. Ich komme...
