Ariana Cafe — Restaurant in Khon Kaen Province

Lovely cafe & restaurant set on the banks of the river Phong. The grounds are still work in progress but there are plenty of opportunities for photos for the Instagram brigade. Being a farang I opted for the large English breakfast which was very tasty and filling. My wife opted for some traditional Thai food dishes and said the food was very tasty with generous portions. The location by the river is very serene and peaceful. If you feel energetic they have kayaks you can use for free.The owner was very friendly and grateful for our custom. Ariana’s cafe is located just outside the city with easy access from the main highway. What a little Gem! The owners have clearly done a tremendous amount of work transforming this riverfront retreat into a “must visit” location. They are clearly expanding the already established restaurant but the construction does not detract from the many aspects already in place. Tried today. What a breakfast they serve. Everything was cooked to perfection. They don't skimp on the portions either. You can tell it's just opened still some construction is ongoing. But the area where the cafe is with toilets ect is well away. It's clean and well laid out. Relaxing listening to the river and the multitude of birds. Really can't fault the food and the service .
