Food is still ok, but everything else is not. Empty wine bottles on the wall but no wine list or wine to order. Did have Bombay Gin&Tonic on menu so ordered that, but after 10min they came back and said they didn't have it. All they have for drinks is beer. I'm sure last time we had cocktails but will have to check. Staff are there but you have to go outside the room to find them if you want anything. I booked ahead but when we got there we had to find our own table, nothing set up for us although only people there. Staff didn't take any drink orders but wandered back in after 10min after we found the menus ourselves. Read more12/12/2024 — Update still going strong same friendly staff and good tasting food. Very pleasant waiting staff, friendly and easy going. Menu was not too large and not too small a good sign as it gives them more chance to get each dish right. After placing my order I was asked "mild, medium or spicy" never an easy one to answer without knowing the benchmark, so opted for medium. The food did not take long to arrive and was all clean and fresh tasting the sauces all uniquely flavoured and everything was well seasoned. The butter chicken had one of the softest chicken I ever found in this dish. The shrimp Biryani was aromatic. Garlic Naan was one of the best.
Papadum, a rare delicacy, was just okay.
They also had real basmati rice - imported from India.
