This stay was a total disappointment service-wise... ||||||The place is beautiful and beautifully kept.||||It is a relaxing environment and it was very green. ||||BUT the service is AWEFUL! ||||||We waited for the driver at the airport for an hour even though our flight was already 45 minutes late. We called them to ask about the transfer, they said 20 minutes to the first person who called and 10 to the second (when the hotel is actually 30 minutes away). The whole thing was then blamed on traffic when we saw none as we were driving to the hotel. ||||||We asked for breakfast at 9.30 at our villa, we called at 9.45 to make sure they were on their way, they had obviously forgotten as we were served 40 minutes later. ||||||For day 2 we decided to eat breakfast at the restaurant to avoid that issue and were  asked to come at 9 because they had reservation for that day (at what time, who knows?). They called us at 9.10 to tell us it would be ready in 10 minutes, we went at 9.25, the food was already served and cold. ||||||Day 3, asked for 9.30 at the restaurant again. Got there 10 minutes late, no one was there, we almost had to go to the kitchen to get someone. We then had to wait for 20 minutes. ||||||WHY do you tell people to come at a certain time if you cannot prepare 6 fried eggs and toast for that time!!?? ||||On top of that, breakfast is just NOT what it should be for the price of the room. Sausages from 7/Eleven shouldn't be served... It seemed a hassle for them when we asked for 2 extra toast on the last day. ||||||We asked for a way to go to town, preferably a local pickup that services as a bus and were told that the only way to go was by taxi for 250b. Of course the taxi took forever to come, as everything else in this hotel. ||||Turns out there are 2 lines of song theaw (pick up truck working as a bus) that pass by the hotel. It's 9 to 13b per person and you can get a map of all the lines at the Pullman hotel in town. ||||||None of the activities advertised on their website are actually offered. ||||||Taxi for the airport was 30 minutes late, luckily we had figured they would be late and asked them to come 30 minutes early. ||||||This all gets very frustrating very fast!! ||||For the price you pay, they can't have such bad service. This is all due to the fact that the manager is not here, forcing the staff to do everything at once, which means they're gonna have to do everything half way. This place needs more staff (we had one waiter for the whole restaurant one night. The poor guy was trying his best but was clearly overworked!) and the manager to be on site to do his or her job, and let other people do theirs... ||||||Only other good thing except for the scenery is the restaurant, where the food is very good and the drinks too. ||||The staff is very nice, if not very efficient... ||||||Would not stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone in the current...

I am beyond upset with this hotel and their staffs. I booked this hotel as a wedding venue and accommodation for 3 nights. This has been planned 6 months in advance at the beginning of 2016. ||||There are 3 villas - 2 cheaper rooms ($400 nzd) and one luxury room ($600 nzd). We booked for the cheaper villa and upgraded to the luxury room for the wedding night (conversion is around 10,000 baht per night). I was dealing with the manager and was promised that everything will be organised especially for this special event. ||||We arrived 2 days before the wedding and stayed in a cheaper room. First night, the phone was not working, at night there was a liquid dripping from the air-con onto the bed. We travelled with a 7 year-old child, they were going to charge us for an extra blanket and a pillow (we were the only guest there). The next day (which is the day before the wedding), the toilet did not flush! I started to question how the $600 room will look, so I've asked to see the room. The hotel manager gave me excuses that it was not ready but I insisted to see the room anyway and OH MY GOSH.. ||||The room was old, unfinished, there was no back door! It was like an abandoned place! That's it. Packed up all our stuff and move that very evening to Khon Kaen Avani hotel. Can you imagine doing this before your wedding night with all that stress?! ||||On the actually wedding night, none of the hotel staffs were to be found. We asked for a fan and couldn't even find one. I had a look at the contract and it stated clearly that they will provide any additional services to help during the whole ceremony. ||||I warn anyone that is reading my review not to go to this place. I will never ever go back there. I will post up the photos I've taken of the rooms to show exactly how it actually look and not what the...

My Thai wife and I went there last week for dinner which was very nice so we decided to go there again last night for Valentine's day. Well the service was absolutely terrible I felt I was discriminated against as a foreigner while Thai customers received good service, I had to call out to get the waiters attention he dropped one menu on the table which was in Thai and I asked for an English menu which they had because they gave it to me last week, he returned again just dropping 2 menus on the table. My wife's order came and I watched while she ate hers,as in most Thai restaurants both meals never come out together??? So I waited and finally mine arrived. I ordered the Wagyu steak medium rare which I received it was medium well!! And definitely not Wagyu it was hard to chew. Our first dinner there was most enjoyable but last night I was very disappointed mainly in the service or should I say non service I received. Anyway we won't be back

It's a great place to dine in. The atmosphere is great with plenty of space for you to walk around while you wait for your food. But it won't take long because each dish is fast. The price is alright and that the service is great. There's also painist to enhance your experience while dining. The taste is amazingly good with the exception of that a lot of things are unusally salty. Like the cabbage with fish sauce. Only one leaf and I could eat with half of the rice plate. It's really really salty. They should lower the salt in every dish. Some of their dish could improve like the kaojee as they tried to create a filling, but they didn't put enough in and turned them into normal kaojee

This is a beautiful restaurant set in rural looking surroundings but only a 10 minutes drive from central Khon Kaen. The decoration is in a gentry country farm. Surrounded by tropical plants, a beautiful garden, and even a tree house, it is a relaxing place for a weekend meal. The food is good too. A little different from what I remember from their Bangkok outlets, this is probably the best Issan home style cooking unless you have a Thai grandma. The only downside is the limited drinks menu, made up by an interesting sparkling rosé.
