The Tibbetts Coffee House was on my list since a long time... It’s far so, my first idea was to have a breakfast there and to enjoy awhile the garden but, after « investigation » there is no cooking but only beverages and cakes... Ok, i decide to come in the afternoon...but before 4:30 p.m, time of the closure. (Anyway all the coffee shops close soon but this one closes very soon). The taxi, it’s far, drops me one hour before. I leave the question of return for later. I hope the place deserves my efforts... The traditionnal thai style wooded homes, the peacefull gardens and rooms are beautiful. As mentionned in many comments, the cakes offer is random and limited, moreover one hour before to close. I take one of each avalaible, so two. And great satisfaction. The cakes are so good and fresh. Especially the cheese berry cake, absolutly delicious. But the moka is without of interest. In short, a mixed result, with the add of the transport cost. (For the story, a Grab motorbike who just made his delivery, could take me...
Read moreBy far the nicest cafe I've been in Khon Kaen. Beautiful compound with aromatic plants, good coffee fastidiously hand crafted - they even serve their hand drip coffee with soda separately as palate cleanser! Their cakes are home made and delicious. Their brownies are out of this world. Even their regular ice latte is delicious. Nice relaxing ambience with instrumental music. Definitely a...
Read moreA very cool (not a word I use too often) coffee shop. Air conditioning and out door seating available. The Americans I had was really good...reminded me a bit of Mr. Lees coffee, which for me is a good thing. I had the salted chocolate brownie and it was delicious. My friends had a mixture of different coffees and all agreed that they were excellent. I will definitely try to get...
